How did he propose?

We had just built our first home together and one afternoon I came home from work to find our home beautifully decorated with roses, candles, balloons, and a trail of love hearts and arrows from the front door to the backyard where I eventually found Paul down on one knee and the letters will you marry me made from rocks covering our whole backyard. It was so romantic! I had absolutely no idea and was completely blown away. I said YES straight away of course!

Where was your ceremony?

Kasey and Paul were married at the stunning Rex Smeal Park Port Douglas.  It is situated overlooking the Coral Sea with the mountains of the Daintree Rainforest lingering in the distance.

Where was your Wedding Reception,

We wanted something completely different but still had the romance, elegance and the wow factor. Flames of the Forest was the perfect venue for this.  We kept the location a secret and none of our guests knew where the reception was. They were picked up from the ceremony by coach and were driven into the forest that was lit up with candles, fairy lights and the road lit on fire. It was magical and certainly spectacular, all our our guests are still talking about flames still to this day.

What was your favourite photo?

Really only one? Seriously! We love them all. That’s way to hard. Reasons are obvious they are amazing!

What is one of your fondest memories of your special day?

Paul and my eyes connecting for the first time walking down the isle, it was such a special and happy moment. It’s a feeling you can’t explain, so much
love it feels like your going to burst.
